Dear Cheesecake and Sweet Things,
Let’s talk about love.
Let’s talk about relationship dynamics.
Let’s talk about what we value most.
Let’s work with what we’ve got—and do a good job with what we’ve got—and stewardess it well.
Today is International Women’s Day and I implore you to check out and read my book, Letters to a Young Woman, from Paris.
All the cool ladies are diving in.
It’s a RADICAL ACT AGAINST TOXIC PATRIARCHAL DOMINATION!
My best friend will show you:
Then there’s my kid who can beat you at chess. (She’s really intimidating about it, I promise you.) (And she does it with a llama on the board.)

Description:
In January 2020, before the world became aware of the emerging Covid pandemic, Jana Marie Rose traveled to Paris for one week to write a book of letters for young women about women’s equality in the 21st century. Each letter is from a different cafe in various arrondissements in Paris. While sharing her own stories of faithfulness, pain and loss, romance and motherhood, she encourages young women to find strength in being unique individuals, in loving their bodies, in meditation and prayer, in traveling alone, and releasing the shame and trauma of patriarchal religion. This is inspiration to make the world more equitable for women, and more in tune with the divine feminine.
You are beautiful.
Avec Plaisir,
Ms. Wonderful
